Aare AVI to VCD/DVD/SVCD/MPEG Converter is intended to make CD/DVD player compatible files form usual computer video files
Aare Converter can open Avi and mpg (mpg, mpeg, mpe, m1v and m2v) files and convert them in files you can burn and play in your TV, using a CD/DVD player. It has output options as: PREDEFINED SIZES format.- VCD_NTSC_352*240, VCD_PAL_352*288, DVD_NTSC_720*480, DVD_PAL_720*576, SVCD_NTCS_480*480, SVCD_PAL:480*576; and CUSTOMIZABLE SIZE format: MPEG1 AND MPEG2.

Also, has user options: open files as "read only", merge files, TRIM SIZE BY % (fill-in), different files for audio and video (joining them), split the output file in order to fit the results to your CD/DVD size, set task's the priority , apply effects for the output file (Soften, sharpen, flipping, find edges and edge enhance). You can check your files using the preview window for both the input and the output file before conversion, and for the output file during conversion.

From video file: Video Source File Name, Video File Format (for instance: AVI, Windows Audio Video Interleaved), Video File Size, in KB; Audio Source File (could be the same file or other), Audio File Format, and Audio File Size. Also
Video Information: indicates if the video is supported, Video Format, Codec, Video Length(Frames and Seconds), FPS, and Video Resolution (size).

Works with DirectX compatible codecs only; Aare AVI to VCD/DVD/SVCD/MPEG Converter can't convert files processed with non-DirectX compatible codecs. Moreover, you should use separate software to burn your disc.
